1492 and 1493 Anticorrosion solution for Steel Drums as well as 1494 Derusting Anticorrosion solution

  To guard against corrosion, cold rolled plate must be coated somewhat with a layer of rust preventive oil. Although this is favorable for the rust prevention for steel plate, it is somewhat troublesome for steel drum manufacturers. The rust preventive oil may bring problems to the application of coating or incur rustiness to the uncoated inside of the steel drums once it is removed. Therefore, it is a must to perform the pretreatment prior to the coating for shaped steel drums. It is also necessary to carry out the degreasing and phosphorization processing to make sure the steel drums will not become rusty within several days.      
  Any coating applied to the surface of common steel drums (except for steel drums with interior coating) subjecting degreasing and phosphorization processing can ensure their rust resistance and pleasing forms. However, as rust may occurs to the inside of the steel drums used for a long period of time, some coopery plants prefer to apply a thin layer of transparent coating on the inside surface of the steel drums. For instances, 891 roasting-free coating and 620 roasting coating are the two coatings most frequently used. Despite of the fact that their existence can not be observed by means of visual perception and hand touch as well as their sound anticorrosion performance, it is still applicable to observe the existence of the coat with the help of appropriate instruments. Therefore, only the anticorrosion solution is available for the permanent rust prevention when some clients prefer to leave out the coat at their discretion.   
  Steel drum anticorrosion solution is available in two types, which adopts the spray or brush painting. Once painted, it can be aired or baked at low temperature. The two types of anticorrosion solution make use of the chemicals contained and steel to form water and oxygen inert coat to provide rust prevention. This crust is an integral part of steel section instead of coat or film formed otherwise. 
  The difference between the two anticorrosion solutions lies to the fact that 1492 as well as 1493 anticorrosion solution is respectively in organic and inorganic combination with steel. As 1493 anticorrosion solution has the function of phosphorization, it can be used instead of phosphating treatment. While 1492 anticorrosion solution can maintain the anticorrosion for several months, it is relatively expensive. In comparison, 1493 anticorrosion solution is only half the price of the 1492 anticorrosion solution despite of the fact that its anticorrosion time is less than one month. 
  1494 anticorrosion solution is actually a type of derusting water, which can thoroughly remove the superficial rust on the steel drum once it is applied for approximately 5 minutes. Furthermore, it can also form a silver anticorrosion phosphating coat as required by the permanent rust prevention for steel drums. Of course, it is also applicable to apply other coatings on the phosphating coat to enhance its adhesion and firmness.
